Local schools to enter Pacesetter Sweet 16 Tournament

(ABC 6 News) — For those planning on going up to the St. Cloud area this weekend, an event to check out is the Pacesetter Sweet 16 Basketball Championship.

Several southeast Minnesota schools are going up to St. Joseph to play in the event which places four top teams from every MSHSL class in the tournaments. Hayfield, Spring Grove, and Plainview-Elgin-Millville on the boys’ side in addition to Caledonia and Lake City. On the girls’ side, both Stewartville and Grand Meadow will be playing as well.

The event begins on Saturday with championship games on Sunday.
