(ABC 6 News) – The Skidox water ski team put on quite the show at the Ponderosa restaurant in Lake Zumbro on Labor Day.

The Rochester Water Ski Shows began in the middle of the 1950s and have members of all ages and abilities.

"It is just fun to be a part of it. It’s something the whole family can do and come on out on evenings and spend some time together and learn some new tricks together," Show Director Natalie Hewitt said.

Throughout all of these cool stunts, members were just glad that they could be together and have a good time, and could support one another, literally.

"I think they are happy, happy to see us out happy to be back out, being able to socialize with their friends, and families and just kind of coming together and having something to come to, but overall I think its been a lot of good support," Hewitt said.

The Skidox water ski team is like many athletic organizations in that it tries to develop individuals, promote competition and teamwork, and create lasting friendships.

The non-profit organization is always looking for new members to join their team. All ages and abilities are welcome.
