(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester woman was arrested for a fight at Broadway Smoke Shop and Vape Thursday.

According to police reports, 33-year-old Krystal Phillips entered the smoke shop around 1:30 p.m. and attempted to purchase some items.

After a new cashier rang up her items incorrectly, smoke shop employees told police that she assaulted the employee, shoved her, and threw her to the ground.

As the smoke shop staff told police about the incident, Capt. Casey Moilanen with the Rochester Police Department said Phillips "charged" the speaker and was restrained by police before she could reach him.

Rochester police detained Phillips in handcuffs and tried to take her to a squad car, at which time she allegedly lunged at an officer and tried to bite their shoulder.

Phillips faces charges of 5th degree assault, disorderly conduct, and obstruction of the legal process.
