Iowa Department of Transportation ‘X’ account hacked

(ABC 6 News) – A spokesperson for the Iowa Department of Transportation has confirmed the @IowaDOT ‘X’ account was “compromised overnight.”
According to the DOT, they have reached out to ‘X’ to regain control, but have been told the process could take days.
