Construction company reports $14K tool, equipment theft

(ABC 6 News) – A construction company reported $14K in tool and equipment theft after July 4.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at about 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 5 in the area of Skyview Circle NW and 18th Avenue in Cascade Township.

A construction company told deputies that workers had left a locked trailer full of equipment in front of a new housing development at 18th Avenue at about noon Monday, July 4.

When staff returned to work at 6:45 a.m. July 5, they found the trailer broken into and about $14,000 in tools and equipment missing.

The Sheriff’s Office did not report any arrests related to the theft.
