Brush fire ignites off Highway 14 in Rochester amid extreme temperatures

(ABC 6 News) – A brush fire ignited off of Highway 14 at the edge of Rochester Sunday evening.

According to the Rochester Fire Dept. firefighters were called near West Circle Drive NW around 5:15 p.m.

Officials say the fire was burning about 50 square feet alongside the highway.

No one was injured but the cause of the blaze is unknown.
