(ABC 6 News) – On Christmas Eve, a Dover man sustained life-threatening injuries in a crash; three days later, 20-year-old Christian Wolter passed away, due to those injuries.

He has been described by loved ones as many things, but above all he was loving and giving.

As an organ donor, Christian’s heart, kidneys and pancreas were given to three people, saving their lives.

He also successfully donated his corneas, giving the gift of sight for two others.

Finally, his tissue was donated to 75 people, improving their lives and health.

During Christian’s service, his grandfather and U.S. Marine veteran shared his thought on his grandson’s life and mission to give back.

“Christian has served and sacrificed for the betterment of others. He has completed his life’s mission, his goal,” said Michael Moses. “I am proud that Christian is my grandson, and my hero.”

A GoFundMe has been created to help support Christian’s mother and two younger sisters.
