Rochester Catholic Schools aims to raise $100 thousand for National Catholic School week

Rochester Catholic Schools kicked off National Catholic School week on Sunday.

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester Catholic Schools (RCS) kicked off National Catholic School week on Sunday.

Sunday started with a pancake breakfast after the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. masses, followed by a dine in or out at Sorellina’s from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

25% of proceeds from the dine in or out from everyone who mentioned RCS were donated to the schools.

Coming up on Tuesday is the Day of Giving, where RCS is hoping to raise $100 thousand to support school programs and initiatives.

So far, five supporters have already donated $10 thousand match to each RCS school.

New this year, students at each school will receive a special incentive if their match is met.

Donations can be made in the car line, school offices, online, through Venmo at @RCSMN or in the RCS central office.
