Jan. 12 crash numbers in Minnesota and Iowa

(ABC 6 News) – As roads get worse as the night soldiers on, state troopers in Minnesota and Iowa have seen a handful of crashes tonight.
Between 6 a.m. Jan. 11 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 12, Minnesota State Troopers have responded to 68 crashes, three with an injury, two listed “serious or fatal.”
MSP also reports 14 vehicle spin-outs
Iowa State Troopers have responded to over 350 calls to assist stranded drivers. Of those calls, 34 were crashes, 27 involved property damage and 7 left people hurt.
No deaths have been reported between midnight and 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 12.
