More affordable organic certification coming for Minnesota farmers

(ABC 6 NEWS) – The Minnesota Department of Agriculture is trying to make organic certification more affordable for farmers.

Minnesota organic farmers and processors can now apply for a rebate of up to 50% of the cost of their organic certification.

MDA is accepting applications through Nov. 1.

This assures organic products consumers purchase are in accordance with the USDA federal organic regulations.
