Waldorf University to host NSAA baseball tourney

(ABC 6 News) — On Friday, the North Star Athletic Association will hold its college baseball tournament in Forest City, IA.
One of the eight teams competing will be Waldorf University.
The Warriors are the four seed and will play fifth-seeded Valley City State at noon. Warriors pitcher Sam Jones just recently won conference baseball pitcher of the week after he struck out 15 and allowed only one hit against Viterbo.
Infielder Damien Sanchez won the player of the week award after he went 12-19, batting .632 and hitting two home runs.
