Rochester Public Schools sees a spike in COVID cases

(ABC 6 NEWS) – Rochester Public Schools saw a spike in COVID-19 cases over the course of Sept. 13 to Sept. 19, according to the RPS COVID-19 Dashboard.

There were 92 new cases within the district, which is compared to 39 new cases from the week before.

The majority of the most recent cases are in grades PreK-5th.

656 people had to quarantine and 82.6% of the cases were among people who are not vaccinated.
