(KSTP) – ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Jim Harbaugh has told Michigan that he will return, won’t job with the Vikings.

Harbaugh was interviewing with the Vikings Wednesday to fill the head-coach vacancy left by Mike Zimmer.

Multiple sources confirmed to KSTP that Kevin O’Connell, offensive coordinator for the Rams, is the frontrunner for the job.

O’Connell had a second interview with the Vikings on Monday in Los Angeles. He cannot officially start in the position until after the Superbowl.
