(ABC 6 News) – The family of actor and comedian Bob Saget released new information about his death, saying he died from an accidental blow to the head at the age of 65. Authorities say he probably hit his head and fell asleep, thinking nothing of it.

Experts at Mayo Clinic say behavioral changes are important after a hit to the head. This could man loss of consciousness, dizziness, memory loss, nausea or lack of coordination.

"If there’s any period of loss of consciousness. If there’s any period of time that you don’t recall. The really sort of very basics of self awareness, knowing what your underlying risks are and doing reasonable things," according to Mayo Clinic Physiatrist, Dr. Allen Brown.

If you are unsure, he encourages you to get checked by a doctor.
