(ABC 6 News) – Monday, Mayo Clinic eased restrictions for hospitalized pediatric patients.

Each pediatric patient is now allowed two consistent designated visitors.

Visitors must be at least 16 years old and are allowed to visit at any time for the duration of the hospitalization, including overnight. A responsible adult must accompany all visitors under age 18.

At times, the number of visitors in a patient’s room may need to be limited out of medical necessity, as determined by the care team.
