NIACC Softball ranked #14 in NJCAA D-II preseason poll

(ABC 6 News) — NIACC Trojans Softball doesn’t start its new season until February 9, but it will go into 2024 as a top-15 squad.
The NJCAA’s D-II preseason poll lists the Trojans at #14 ahead of the new campaign. NIACC Softball went 36-13 last year before going 1-2 in the Region 11 Tournament.
NIACC did field several all-region players a season ago including Laken Lienhard, the 2023 ICCAC D-II Offensive Player of the Year.
The Trojan’s new season begins at the Coca-Cola Classic in Booneville, Mississippi.
