Lebron James spotted at Lourdes High School

(ABC 6 News) – Lebron James made a surprise stop at Lourdes High School in Rochester on Tuesday, according to the school’s administrative staff.

Both Rochester police and school staff worked to protect James’ privacy during his trip, going as far as blocking the gym’s windows so no one could look inside.

“I know some of the football boys and soccer boys have been trying to get glimpses of him,” said Beth Sarkaria, a parent of a Lourdes High School student, “And they’ve had police over here to kind of, help him protect his privacy.”

The nature of James’ visit isn’t clear, but it comes just over a month after he and his son, Bronny James, made a stop in Rochester to be screened at Mayo Clinic after Bronny suffered cardiac arrest during a workout at USC.
