Woodson Kindergarten Center collecting “Pennies for Patients”

(ABC 6 News) – Woodson Kindergarten Center in Austin took part in the Paint the Town Pink “Pennies for Patients” fundraiser.
The center collected pennies all week with the goal of reaching $1,000. They instead peaked at $1,400.
All the money raised will go towards cancer research at the Hormel Institute.
As a reward for the student’s hard work, the dean got pied in the face.
