UPDATE: Motorcycle driver’s injuries non-life-threatening after Thursday crash

(ABC 6 News) – Emergency crews responded to a motorcycle versus car crash on Highway 52 in Rochester early Thursday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 29-year-old Sayeman Islam Niloy, of Rochester, was driving a 2006 Honda CBR600 Sport motorcycle southbound on Highway 52.

He collided with a 2019 Fiat 500X, just south of 37th St. NW.

Logan Elov Adler, 26, the driver of the Fiat, was also traveling southbound on 52.

Niloy suffered minor injuries and was transported to St. Marys Hospital. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to the MSP.

Adler was not injured.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident happened at approximately 7:56 a.m. near the onramp of southbound Highway 52 from 37th St. NW.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted at the scene by Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance.
