Rochester’s Pittsburgh Blue Steakhouse closed Sunday night after fire

(ABC 6 News) – The Pittsburgh Blue Steakhouse in Rochester is closed to the public Sunday night after a kitchen fire over the weekend.

Capt. Isaac Molin with the Rochester Fire Dept. says crews responded the restaurant around 4:43 p.m.

According to Capt. Molin, there was a flare-up from the broiler, which caused the fire suppression system (ANSUL) to activate and contain the fire prior to RFD’s arrival.

Officials with the restaurant stated on social media that the small fire prevented the business from opening for dinner Sunday evening.

They stated, “everything is ok and we are planning to open tomorrow.”

The damage estimates are unknown.
