(ABC 6 News) – Paint the Town Pink continues to raise money for cancer research with two different events in Austin Saturday.

The Austin Eagle’s Club hosted “Fishing for a Cure” despite the warm weather forcing the ice fishing contest to be cancelled.

People in attendance could still participate in a meal and silent auction.

The VFW Post 1216 also held a pool tournament, which matched up to $2,000 of entry fees.
