(ABC 6 News) – On Friday, April 5, the Mayo One helicopter made a precautionary landing at the Plainview athletic field due to a bird damaging the windshield of the helicopter.
Mayo Clinic has confirmed that neither the patient aboard the helicopter nor the four-person crew sustained any injuries.
According to Mayo, the patient’s care continued uninterrupted before an ambulance transported the patient to the hospital.
