Mason City hosts 2nd annual Veterans Stand Down event

(ABC 6 News)- Mason City helped out veterans and their families with the 2nd annual Veterans Stand Down event on Saturday.
The goal for the event was to provide a one-stop-shop for veterans.
There were resources available to help with housing and food insecurity, finding employment and medical issues. All the services provided were free.
The event also offered the chance for veterans to connect with each other and build a community.
