Crews respond to house fire in Wasioja

ABC 6 News– The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is confirming that crews responded to a fire overnight in Wasioja Township.

According to the sheriff’s office, crews responded to the fire just after midnight on Tuesday, January 30.

When firefighters arrived, they found the homeowners working to get everybody out of the house, including their four animals.

One person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, but otherwise no other injuries were reported.

Investigators say the fire likely started in the chimney, and the home is likely a total loss.
