Lightning strikes tree in Albert Lea, spreading debris

(ABC 6 News) – A tree near the intersection of East 4 Street and Frank Avenue in Albert Lea was struck by lighting, splitting down the middle.
Video and a photo submitted by an ABC 6 News viewer show shreds of the tree scattered across the sidewalk and lawns.
