(ABC 6 News) – The Freeborn County Historical Museum, Library and Village held its annual meeting, celebrating 76 years.

During the anniversary meeting, members talked about triumphs and struggles faced in 2023, while leaders shared what was ahead for 2024.

Of last year’s successes, museum officials highlighted the end of a five-year road construction project, soliciting grants for new projects and new programs added over the year.

“We are hopeful that more families will see what we are doing here and become interested we are adding interactive components to almost all of our exhibits for families and children,” said Stephanie Kibler, the executive director at Freeborn County Historical Museum. “So, I think that’s what were really most proud of as a staff here.”
