(ABC 6 News) – Minnesota’s legislative auditor has issued a report on the appointment of ex-Director of Cannabis management Erin Dupree.

Dupree stepped down one day after she was appointed over scrutiny of her businesses.

The auditor says, if proper steps were taken, it would at minimum identified that Dupree had unpaid tax liens, likely disqualifying her from the position.

Governor Walz admits he made a mistake appointing her.
