ABC 6 News Community Excellence Awards presentation
ABC 6 presents the Community Excellence Awards to seven very worthy people.
(ABC 6 News) – On Thursday, seven members of the Rochester and surrounding community were honored for their outstanding volunteer work.
From volunteering at food pantries to providing rides and companionship to Mayo Clinic, each of the people who were nominated more than earned it.
“It’s tough getting recognition for what you do, cause you didn’t do it for that,” said recipient Jesse Campbell who runs Non-Profit Wrench Inc. “It’s just kind of a lot of mixed emotions with it, but I’m really happy about it.”
The honorees were all nominated by someone close to them, who had seen firsthand the impact they made in the community.
