July 19, 2017 07:12 PM

(ABC 6 News) --A turkey farm near Claremont sustained damage from severe thunderstorms that rolled through our area Wednesday evening.

At least two buildings sustained significant damage to the roof.  A nearby power line was also knocked down by the storm.

At this point, it's undetermined whether it was straight line winds or a tornado that caused the damage--that information will be determined in the coming days by the National Weather Service.

It's also unconfirmed if any animals or people were hurt.  The Dodge County Emergency Manager says the owner was in one of the barns while the roof was peeling off.
