(ABC 6 News) - It's Wednesday... which means it's time for another ABC 6 Weather Lab. Our weather team is hitting up four schools during the month of May. On Monday we visited Hayfield Elementary and ran into one of the loudest group of students so far. Here's what it looked and sounded like.

"Very exciting to have them, we see them on TV all the time," said First Grade Teacher Sarah Gunderson. "So it was exciting to see them here and kind of show us what we've been teaching in the classrooms. "

"These are some pretty enthusiastic kids here. Yes, very. End of the year," said Gunderson.
(Nats: "Whoa. See that? That one kind of lifted up.")
"We learned how to stay safe with…. severe weather safety," said First Grader William Urland.
(Nats: "What I need you to do….")
"It can save your life sometimes and… save others too," said William.
"I liked the cloud one," he admitted.
(Nats: "Want a bigger one?")
"Because it was cool how they put the juice, the stuff that looked like Cool-Aid in there and then it started raining at the bottom," he explained. "It looked really cool."
"I was very nervous," said Gunderson.
(Nats: (Air Guns))
"It was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be, but it was very cool," she said.
Today we are also announcing our latest Certified Weather Lab Assistant. This week our winner is James Rice, a second grader at Jefferson Elementary! James went above and beyond and completed five experiments including the pressure meter, which you just saw, the ivory soup cloud which he thought was so much fun he did twice, the cloud in a bottle, shaving cream cloud, and the mini vortex cannon. James loves science and math and had a blast completing these experiments! Congratulations James!
We also want to remind you that you can become an ABC 6 Weather Lab Assistant like James. All you have to do is go to our website at kaaltv.com and pick an experiment.
