(ABC 6 News) — Saint Ansgar head coach Lance Schutjer says the team must take it one game at a time in the postseason. In the team’s final home game of the season, they dominated West Hancock.

It only took four innings, but in those innings, the team showed their next opponent Newman Catholic they will be a tough out.

Josie Juhl pitched four shutout innings, striking out several West Hancock batters. Makenna Narby got the Saints’ first run with an RBI double in the bottom of the 1st but many runs came via stolen bases.

St. Ansgar will travel to face Newman Catholic in the second round next Wednesday at 7 pm.
