Grizzlies Stay Alive, Force a Winner-Take-All Game Three

(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Grizzlies hosted their first-ever playoff game on Saturday, and they didn’t disappoint the home fans.

In Saturday’s game two of the NA3HL’s junior hockey West Division Semifinals, the Grizzlies overcame two separate one-goal deficits, defeating the North Iowa Bulls, 4-3.

After tying the game twice in the second period, on a Grizzlies’ power play, Rochester’s Hunter Hall ended the power play with the go-ahead goal.

The Grizzlies entered the third period with a 3-2 lead, and added a goal early in the third. The Bulls scored one more goal in the period, but were unable to force overtime.

With the win, the Grizzlies evened the best-of-three series at 1-1. Game three will be played in Mason City on Sunday night.
