(ABC 6 News) — Rochester FC is finally in the win column.

The UPSL semi-pro soccer team got its first victory of the season in a 3-0 decision over the Minnesota Brooklyn Knights Wednesday evening.

The game started well four minutes in as Ochan Ochan scored an easy open net goal for RFC. But scoring again for the rest of the half proved to be difficult. Luke Dallmann had a few opportunities, using his head on one attempt and only finding the upper right corner of the post on another.

Kyle Farrell looked like he had a chance in the first half but the Knights’ goalie would ultimately deny him. Yet, he found his chance well into the 81st minute, finally scoring to make the contest 2-0. Midhat Mujic added a third in the 84th, nipping the game in the bud and sealing win number one for RFC.

Rochester FC hosts Minneapolis City SC next on May 21st at 7 PM.
