"It's a great learning experience, it was a competitive match, but this one will sting for a really long time," Cougars Head Coach Lonnie Morken said.  "We overcame a lot this year, we had a great season, but we're leaving here feeling like we really could've won, but we didn't, and that's really going to sting. Hats off to Medford, they played well, they deserve to go (to state), because they played better than us today, and they're moving on."

Medford is heading to the Class-A State Volleyball Tournament for the first time in school history. State tournament play begins on Thursday, November 8 at the Xcel Energy Center.  Seeding will be posted once it is announced.
