(Med City FC) - Med City FC, Rochester’s National Premier Soccer League team, will be holding its 2019 open tryouts on Saturday, February 9.

This year, Med City FC will hold two sessions of open tryouts, with each session being available to a maximum of 54 participants.

Listed below are the times and location of the tryout sessions:

Time:
1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
3:45 p.m.-5:45 p.m.

Rochester Regional Stadium and Bubble
Rochester Community and Technical College
851 30th Ave SE, Rochester MN 55904

The cost for attending the tryout is $49. Registration will close on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 11:59 pm. At this point, the team will not be allowing any registrations on-site the day of the event. This will be a pre-registration only tryout.

“We’re really looking forward to building on our success of the past two seasons and we want 2019 to be our best season yet. We’ll be looking for some high-quality players to add to and strengthen the roster,” said Med City FC General Manager Frank Spaeth. “Our team and the entire conference have both grown in stature quickly and are highly thought of in soccer circles around the country. It’s imperative for us to add both depth and quality to our squad to keep pace in the conference.”

Spaeth said that the team will be looking to add 10 to 12 new players to the team, in addition to the 14 players expected to return for the 2019 season.
