Lourdes track HC Steve Strickland reportedly stepping down

(ABC 6 News) — It appears that Lourdes Track and Field will be headed into a new era with a new coach.

Eagles head coach Steve Strickland is reportedly stepping down after 13 seasons of helping lead both boys and girls track. Strickland came onto eagles track and field in 2010 as an assistant coach. in 2020, Strickland became the head coach and is in the middle of his third season and will exit from his role at the end of the track campaign.

Strickland is also the activities director for Lourdes and will continue to serve in that position for the Eagles.
