(ABC 6 News) - A pair of local products are showing just how good Southeast Minnesota is at volleyball by dominating at the next level.

St. Charles graduate Brekkin McCready is a sophomore at RCTC this year, and was named the MCAC setter of the week for the third straight time on Tuesday. She has been huge in the Yellowjackets' 18-0 to start the season. If the season ended today, McCready's average of 12.55 assists per set would set a new record in NJCAA Division III volleyball.

Down at Wake Forest, Former Kasson-Mantorville star Peyton Suess was named ACC Co-Freshman of the Week Monday. She tallied 51 kills in three matches last week, and racked up a pair of double-doubles. But her success is not limited to last week. In fact, she leads Wake Forest in kills this season.
