Wangen’s heroics propel Stewartville to victory in Class AAA consolation championship

(ABC 6 News) — The Stewartville Tigers may not walk away with a state championship, but they finished the 2022-23 season on the right note. Sophomore Parker Wangen hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 26.3 seconds left to give Stewartville a 56-55 victory over St. Francis in the Class AAA consolation championship game. The Tigers finish the season with a 27-5 record.
