Road to Gold: Fillmore Central football shows resilience, wants to make the most of first-time trip to the state tournament

(ABC 6 News) – For three quarters, everything was clicking for the Fillmore Central Falcons in their first-round Class A matchup against Lester Prairie. In the fourth quarter nearly everything unraveled, but the Falcons persevered and won 18-16. The team is now out of its “honeymoon” stage of being in the state tournament for the first time and has its eyes firmly locked on winning it all.
