Mayo looks to rebound after “uncharacteristic” home loss
(ABC 6 News) — Mayo (1-1) lost its home opener for the first time since 2017. In a performance head coach Donny Holcomb says was one of the worst he’s been a part of, the Spartans turned the ball over six times and gave up nearly 300 rushing yards. Monday, they got back to work with extra motivation to correct their mistakes going into Friday’s matchup with Farmington (0-2).
