(ABC 6 News) - The Austin Bruins added depth Tuesday picking up three players in the supplemental NAHL draft.
The Bruins focused on the defensive half of the ice, taking two defenseman and a goalie.
With their first pick in the draft the Bruins selected defenseman Jackson McCarthy at no. 18. McCarthy is a 17-year-old from West Seneca, New York.
From there the team choosing a pair of minnesota natives.. They picked up goalie Hudson Hodges from Moorhead with the 32nd pick and defenseman Ben Dexheimer from Edina with the 44th pick in the draft.
Before COVID-19 canceled the rest of the season, the Bruins went 28-16 this year.
