In the second-half, the Packers raced ahead of the Magic, outscoring Monticello, 36-28, resulting in a 68-52 win for Austin. Austin was led by senior Medi Obang, who finished with 14 points.

In the 2018 Class AAA semifinals, the Packers left the Target Center with a bad taste in their mouths—Austin lost to eventual Class AAA state champion, Delano, 80-68.

The Packers will play the second-seeded Waseca Bluejays in the semifinals. That game will be played on Thursday at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Tipoff for that game is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
