(ABC 6 News) - Rochester Police Department officers arrived at the 3700 block of 8th St. NW after receiving an assault call on Saturday.

The victim, a 24-year-old woman, told police that Davelle Fox, 25, has been living together and earlier that day they were having a barbeque. She told police that Fox had been drinking and they got into an argument.

The victim said Fox grabbed a handgun from inside, pointed it at her head, made her get into his car, and drove away. Then, while driving, he shot a round out the passenger window in front of the victim's face. She told police he drove to Silver Lake, got out, and threw the gun into the lake.

The victim told police Fox then drove her back home and he left to go do some DoorDash deliveries.

Police located him at the McDonald's on 2nd St. SW and found a shell casing inside of his vehicle. Fox was arrested on possible charges of domestic assault, 2nd-degree assault, kidnapping, theft, recklessly handling a dangerous weapon, and terroristic threats.
