Thousands worth of tools, copper taken from Rochester business

(ABC 6 News) – Thousands of dollars worth of tools and copper were taken from a business in Rochester this week according to the Rochester Police Department.

Police said sometime between noon Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday someone broke into Elcor Construction at 2535 Highway 14 West. After getting in through a door the suspect(s) opened a garage door to the business.

The owner told police about $4,000 worth of tools was taken along with about a ton of copper valued at about $20,000. The owner told police it would’ve taken several truck loads to get all the copper out of there.

No arrests have been made as of Friday morning.
