(ABC 6 News) - Olmsted County deputies were patrolling the fair Wednesday night around 9:30 when they received reporting a juvenile being a disturbance at the fair.
A 15-year-old girl from Rochester was swearing and kicking garbage cans. She was asked to leave the fair by deputies and then came verbally confrontational and refused to leave the fairground.
The girl began to leave but continued to be verbal and refused to listen to lawful orders by deputies to leave the grounds.
She was part of a group of 40-50 teens at the fair. They began to interfere and made the situation dangerous by spitting and kicking deputies.
The 15-year-old female was arrested and taken from the scene by deputies. Deputies notified the 15-year-old's parents and they picked her up at the Fairgrounds.
There were about 8 to 10 deputies involved in the situation. The girl may be facing possible charges.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is still looking into the incident.
