(ABC 6 News) - UPDATE: RochesterFest organizers announced on Saturday afternoon they decided to end festivities for the day a few hours earlier than planned. They say the decision to close for the day was made after consulting the National Weather Service, Rochester Police Department and several RochesterFest board members.
Saturday night's concerts were also cancelled and not being rescheduled.
Organizers also announced that the 1860s Baseball is still going on Sunday at the History Center of Olmsted County.

The Rochesterfest parade has been canceled for 2021 due to potential heavy rain on Saturday.
Working with the National Weather Service, Rochester Police Department and our Parade Chair, Rochesterfest made the decision Saturday morning. "Our community’s safety is our first priority," the press release states. Stay tuned for more details on the entrtainment stage for Saturday night.
