UPDATE: Rochesterfest ends a few hours earlier than planned on Saturday; ends the year at Soldiers Field Memorial for 2021

Organizers also announced that the 1860s Baseball is still going on Sunday at the History Center of Olmsted County.

The Rochesterfest parade has been canceled for 2021 due to potential heavy rain on Saturday. 

Working with the National Weather Service, Rochester Police Department and our Parade Chair, Rochesterfest made the decision Saturday morning. "Our community’s safety is our first priority," the press release states. Stay tuned for more details on the entrtainment stage for Saturday night. 

From the National Weather Service:

• The heavy rain threat is expected for the entire area.
• The heavy rain could lead to flash flooding if storms repeatedly move over the same areas.
• the potential exists throughout the day, with the best threat for impacts being during the afternoon hours.
