(ABC 6 News) - Thursday, COVID-19 vaccinations began at four local community vaccination pilot clinics in Brooklyn Center, Andover, St. Cloud and Rochester.
As of 8PM when clinics closed, the pilot clinics reported that 2,399 Minnesotans received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Pilot Clinic Vaccinations Breakdown:
Brooklyn Center: 849 vaccines completed
Andover: 808 vaccines completed
St. Cloud: 368 vaccines completed
Rochester: 374 vaccines completed
Five additional clinics will open later this week in Fergus Falls, Mountain Iron, Thief River Falls, North Mankato and Marshall.
These pilot clinics are initially serving adults age 65 and older, and prekindergarten through grade 12 educators, staff, and child care workers.
