(ABC 6 News) - A new fun and creative play space for kids in Rochester has now opened.
Spark, formerly known as the Minnesota Children's Museum of Rochester, has been under construction and Wednesday all of the anticipation has paid off for families during the grand opening.
"It was everything that we had hoped for we had children here right at 9:00 a.m., kids that actually walked past it a couple of times last week we had extra staff on sight for cleaning just to keep our community health and safe and we're really excited to be back in the community and up and running," said the Development Manager with Spark, Lindsey Hemker.
There are several interactive spaces to play in at Spark including a climbing wall, a World Bizarre, an H2OH! exhibit, and the makers space with an ABC 6 News anchor desk and more.
