"The Clash" wrestling tournament changes venues
'The Clash' event in 2017
(ABC 6 News) – The annual national high school wrestling tournament ‘The Clash’ will not be held in Rochester this year.
‘The Clash XIX’ originally scheduled to take place at Rochester Community and Technical College, will now take place at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse, Wis.
The Clash committee announced the change on its Facebook page Wednesday, saying "Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Clash XIX will be changing venues.".
32 of the best high school wrestling teams from around the country will gather for the event.
The event will still be held on January 7 and 8, 2022.
