(ABC 6 News) - There is something that impacts children and it can impact them their entire life.
It's at the center of a documentary called "My Beautiful Stutter' showing in Rochester Thursday evening .
The documentary follows five kids who stutter ages 9 to 18, from all over the United States, who after experiencing a lifetime of bullying and stigmatization, meet other children who stutter at an interactive arts-based program, The Stuttering Association for the Young, based in New York City.
Jeffrey Glessing, a speech-language pathologist joined Betsy Singer to talk about the documentary and the impact it can have on children.
